The West is being destroyed by design. Although this process was initiated over decades, Lockdown was the mechanism that truly kicked it off in earnest.

Remember the roles your politicians, bureaucrats and health service played in the hoax.

Absolutely—lockdowns weren’t just a health response; they were a trigger for accelerated control. And yes, we must remember who enforced it all. Accountability starts with never forgetting.

"It is being driven there—with intention, speed, and silence."

Too right!

It is a global drive - look at they are dusting up the Poms...

Convid.

There was a psychologist who discovered that about 80% of people are bunnies, sheep and believe that they are told. Just look at all the convid measures where punters merely parroted the lies.

I first noticed the phenomenon of parroting during the 2YK con. I met a younger guy who went to the same high school as me and he parroted the line re the date. I stunned him with a simple suggestion that they should move the date in the computer forward to see if there would be problems. I asked him would the computer know that the date was artificial? He looked at me, stunned!

Thanks for your comment—and you’re absolutely right. The machinery behind these narratives doesn’t stop at borders. COVID ("Convid") was a masterclass in mass compliance, and as you point out, it's not the first time we've seen critical thinking sidelined by blind parroting.

That moment you described—where a simple question shattered the script—is powerful. Sometimes all it takes is one crack for the light to get in. Appreciate you sharing it.

I agree Barry. The 2YK Psyop wasted millions of taxpayer's dollars in the Grubberment Sector, Banking Sector, Insurance Sector, Stock Exchange, Corporation Sector etc etc.

Who has a list of all the Psyops that has manipulated the Australians Psych since 1901 including the rubbish bin bombing in Sydney and the PA Psyop in Tas?

Thank you Gaz for for making the sentiment of Greg's article available and so readable. I'm sure you've done it elegant and concise justice. It would be a reassuring gesture, however, by 'The Australian', as a commitment to its authentic concerns, to offer the article up to public circulation without the 'paywall', or is that too much to ask of Rupert's capitalist ethics. Regardless, this is a hopeful indication that the cracks of awareness are widening in the mainstream.

Thank you for your thoughtful words—and I couldn’t agree more. Making pieces like Greg’s accessible to all Australians would be a powerful gesture of good faith by The Australian, especially if they truly stand behind the urgency of its message. Still, your comment hits the right note: this may well signal that the cracks in the narrative dam are starting to show. Let’s hope they keep widening. Much appreciated.

You should mention Scott Morrison's role in this after he went AWOL during the devastating bushfires to take instructions on a US military resort in Hawaii. He and his sidekicks proceeded to rip Australia from China, whose trade had protected Oz from America's 2008 Great Crash while the rest of us were being shredded in the meltdown. Losing trade at America's behest only to see it picked up by the US must have been tough. The AUKUS nuke sub deal is even more outrageous. Btw, Scomo was nicely rewarded with a job in finance with former US NSA chief O'Brien, and in Pompeo's investment outfit. Follow the money.

Powerful points—and you’re right, Morrison’s actions deserve far more scrutiny. The timing, the alliances, the rewards—it all paints a troubling picture. “Follow the money” indeed. Thanks for laying it out so clearly.

Thank you for the thoughtful comment. It's understandable that readers may view long-standing media figures with skepticism—especially given the climate of controlled messaging and limited debate that’s defined the past few years. You're right to point out that participation in the media ecosystem doesn’t exempt anyone from accountability.

That said, Greg Sheridan’s article marks a notable departure from the safe, curated narratives we’ve become used to. It doesn’t just raise alarm—it names names, diagnoses structural decay, and demands that readers confront uncomfortable truths. That in itself is no small act in today’s media landscape.

We can—and should—hope that this represents a turning point, both for Sheridan and for The Australian. A course correction is always possible. As you rightly say, time will tell. In the meantime, raising the alarm—even if late—is better than staying silent. And for that, the article deserves credit.

Thanks again for your contribution—it’s this kind of critical engagement that keeps the discussion honest and alive.

How wonderful that Greg Sheridan and The Australian (Murdoch) media are now revealing what they have participated in doing for decades - bringing down Australia. It is the biased mainstream media that has manipulated the public into the unhealthy state we (and our institutions) are in. CONVID was the turning point for reversing all the principles and commonsense we have always lived by. Right became wrong and black became white. And Greg Sheridan has been one of leading journalists promoting the lies and propaganda in the Australian newspaper.

Thanks so much for your comment, Judy—and for your tireless efforts in exposing the devastating folly of the COVID narrative. You’ve been one of the consistent, courageous voices calling out the propaganda when it was hardest to do so.

And you’re absolutely right to point out the role mainstream media—The Australian included—has played in distorting reality and enabling Australia’s decline. Sheridan himself has certainly been part of that machine, and I’m no fan of his broader record either.

But the op-ed he penned this time hit a nerve because it told some hard truths we rarely see acknowledged in mainstream print. That’s why I focused on the message over the messenger. Sometimes even those who’ve carried water for the system break rank, and when they do, it’s worth shining a light on it—not to absolve them, but to weaponize the truth that escapes through the cracks.

So yes, this is bigger than Sheridan. And it’s voices like yours that help ensure we don’t forget who was complicit, even as we make use of the truths they finally let slip.

Sheridan is a clapped out catholic , who endorses genocide and kisses Israel’s ass at every opportunity- if you are relying on this card board catholic cutout, the country is even more fucked than he can possibly fathom.

That’s a brutal take—but I hear the frustration behind it. Look, I’m no defender of Sheridan’s track record, and I share serious doubts about many of his past positions. But in this instance, I wasn’t endorsing him—I was sounding the alarm about the content of his article, which, whether by accident or awakening, cuts to the heart of Australia’s decline.

Yes, it’s a sad indictment of where we are that even someone like Sheridan had to break ranks and say something that resembles truth. But maybe that’s the point—we’re past the luxury of perfect messengers. The system is so hollowed out that sometimes the cracks come from within. And when they do, we’d be fools not to shine a torch through them. Let’s stay sharp—but also strategic.

Not as brutal as his implicit and explicit endorsement of genocide in Gaza and the previous genocides (“wars”) in Afghanistan and Iraq etc , etc.

No frustration , I long ago gave up any hope of finding anyone at all in Australian MSM having any moral or intellectual integrity - they don’t exist.

We are a wart on the arse of the West and will go down with it (while watching the footy).

Far too late for strategy, but if it gets you through. I prefer to live what time I have left with as few illusions as possible.

And we can't vote our way out of this. There's only one way and things aren't that bad yet. They may never be as the populace is under heavy propaganda and other stresses. There's nothing to be done.

Gaz's - A Defender's Voice's avatar

That’s a heavy sentiment—and one that many quietly share, even if they don’t say it out loud.

But here’s a thought: history rarely turns on grand revolutions alone. It turns on truth spoken plainly, courage practiced locally, and resolve lived out quietly, day after day. Yes, propaganda is thick, distractions endless, and the average citizen overwhelmed—but that’s precisely the environment in which seeds of awareness can start to grow.

You’re right—voting alone won’t fix a system captured by technocrats, lobbyists, and unelected power brokers. But don’t underestimate the power of influence outside the ballot box: conversations, platforms like this one, civil disobedience when warranted, non-compliance with madness, and the quiet refusal to believe lies.

Maybe things aren’t bad enough for the masses to stir—but sometimes it’s the few who see clearly before the breaking point who keep the soul of a nation intact. And that’s something worth doing. Even when it feels like nothing can be done.

Keep watch. Keep speaking. Even when it feels like no one’s listening.

Because one day, they might.

Great reply, thank you. I realise that speaking the truth is all we can do and maybe build parallel systems where possible. The tyranny is strong and the population dumbed, effort beyond this is futile. I watch as some try to change the system from within, legally etc. Only to fail every time. The rulers will nudge us, incrementally, imperceptibly towards full control never overplaying their hand, imposing tyranny then backing off a little to give the illusion of benevolence. If you do this over generations people adapt and accept it as normal. This is my fear. I already see some eager for the brain chip. I imagine some kind of counter lifestyle movement that rejects technology and control - like an anarchist secular amish. But of course any counter narrative would come under fire. I don't see a path for the majority, especially Aussies who seem easily lead. But there will always be that small percentage who resist - liberty or death types. Most of the people are headed for the digital gulag I'm afraid.

Gaz's - A Defender's Voice's avatar

Powerful words—and deeply appreciated. You’re articulating what many sense but struggle to express: the slow, deliberate corrosion of freedom, masked as progress. You’re right—efforts within the system often hit a wall, and the rulers have mastered the art of pushing just hard enough to normalize control without sparking revolt.

But that idea of a counter-lifestyle—a secular Amish resistance of sorts—isn’t as far-fetched as it sounds. History shows us that parallel cultures, built on conviction and quiet defiance, can outlast empires. Keep speaking, keep imagining, and keep resisting. The digital gulag may be rising, but there are still those refusing to kneel. You're not alone.

What a masterpiece, Greg Sheridan is a brave journalistic voice in a swamp of media rot, the Australian public in the main should not be excused, half of them don’t realise what’s happening and the rest don’t give a dam, they see themselves as ‘I’m Ok, not my problem.’ Compliance and apathy on a grand scale. Wake up Australia, your country needs you !!!!!!

Gaz's - A Defender's Voice's avatar

Absolutely—thank you for raising this. You're right to call out the complacency and apathy blanketing the country like a fog. Far too many Australians are either unaware of what’s unfolding—or worse, see the warning signs and shrug, thinking it won’t touch them.

As for Sheridan, he’s a complex figure and has rightly drawn criticism in this thread. But whatever his motives or past, the article itself hit hard—and truthfully. It laid bare the national decline in a way few mainstream voices have dared. That matters. It’s not about trusting the messenger—it’s about recognizing when the message breaks through the noise and exposes something real.

This isn’t just opinion anymore. It’s evidence. It’s lived reality. And it’s time we stopped waiting for someone else to sound the alarm. As you said—wake up, Australia. Time’s running out.
